Died in his 41st year.

 

To the memory of
DR. CHARLES WILLIAMSON
who departed this life the 16th of October, 1828
in the 41st year of his age.
This monument is erected by devoted
AFFECTION
but it is the recollection which lives in the hearts of his
sorrowing friends, of his virtues as a man and a citizen
of the warmth and fidelity of his attachments, of his amiable
and exemplary deportment in every social relation
that constitutes the truest, worthiest memorial of
CHARLES WILLIAMSON
and we (?) humbly trust he be(?) now where
"the wicked cease from troubling and where the weary be at rest."
