Edward Rozier Turner

Lt. Edward Rozier Turner served in Combat Engineers in World War II.  During his time overseas he was in four invasions:  North Africa, Sicily, Salerno, and Normandy, and he received two Purple Hearts and other decorations.  In 1944, following the combat deaths of his two older brothers, he was sent home as the sole surviving son.
