SPARTA -- Richard Lee Warren Jr., 49, died Feb. 12. He was a member of Hunts Chapel AME Church. He was a 1967 graduate of Hancock Central High School and received an associate degree in forestry and welding from Savannah Tech. He was a Vietnam War veteran. SURVIVORS: a daughter, Damiya Shandray Warren of Milledgeville; his father, Richard Warren Sr. of Sparta; six brothers, James and Marion Rhodes, both of Newark, N.J., Eugene Warren of Savannah, the Rev. Clifford Warren of Lithonia, Leroy Warren of Jonesboro and Lucious Warren of Sparta; three sisters, the Rev. Olivia Posey of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Helen Robertson of Atlanta and Susan W. Green of Augusta; and a host of other relatives and friends. FUNERAL: 1 p.m. today at Hunts Chapel AME Church, burial in Church Cemetery. Warren Brothers Mortuary of Sparta.
