SPARTA - George Cobb, age 62, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at Oconee Regional Medical Hospital, Milledgeville. Funeral services will be held 2:30P.M., Sunday, October 5, 2003 at Hunts Chapel AME Church with burial in church cemetery.
Survivors include wife, Magertha Cobb; daughter, Gwen Cobb-Burno of Allen, TX; four sons, Anthony Cobb of Sparta, George Cobb, Jr. of Decatur, Shon Cobb of Augusta and Reginald Cobb of Milledgeville; five brothers, Will Cobb, Perry Cobb, Roosevelt Cobb, Frank Cobb, Read L. Cobb; three sisters, Farris Harper, Lillie Lewis and Rowena Primas and seven grandchildren.
