Death of Raleigh Turner

Mr. Raleigh Turner of Milledgeville died at his home there Monday afternoon at
three o'clock. He had been sick for some time but his death was not expected
and came as quite a shock to his friends and relatives.

Mr. Turner was an old citizen of Talbotton and was born and reared in this
county. He moved to Milledgeville about twelve years ago and has since resided
there.

His remains were brought to Talbotton yesterday afternoon and entered in Oak
Hill Cemetery. He was a prominent Mason and the funeral services were
conducted by the local Masonic lodge.

Besides his wife and children, he leaves a large circle of friends and
relatives to mourn his loss.
