Bio:

Bill Miner (1843-Sep 2, 1914) (East J, 7, 1) was a notorious stagecoach and train robber. The books, The Grey Fox and Bill Miner--Stagecoach and Train Robber, describe his life. He died in the State Prison on state route 22 west of Milledgeville from which he had escaped several times. He actually is not buried under this marker but rather in a recently (about 1999) marked grave--no. 6 in lot 18, to the east.
