Stone decorated with architect's plumb-bob, rule and instruments.

John Marlor was an architect. He built the Masonic Hall on the NE corner of Hancock and Wayne Streets, the Stetson-Sanford House on the NW corner of Jackson and West Hancock Streets, his own residence at 201 North Wayne Street and a home at 141 South Wilkinson Street.
